Bali was made famous as the ultimate “self-discovery” destination from the movie “Eat, Pray and Love”.
Lately, this charming island seems to be attracting more than just those who are looking for some sun, gastronomic delights and inner peace…
#AjAnnaBali2015: My First Destination Wedding
With its rich cultural attractions, picturesque landscapes, beautiful coastlines, happening night life and range of activities fit for every budget, there is no reason for one not to pay this country a visit. Lucky me, I ended up booking for an unscheduled trip when my team mate extended an invitation to her wedding in this romantic island. The novelty of experiencing my first “destination wedding” was extremely exciting.
I left all the planning to the crew during our “off days” and the experience was nothing short of amazing. This trip actually charmed a newly engaged couple from our crew that they too will be having the nuptials at Bali. May it be another wedding or not, with confidence, I will definitely be going back to Bali!
My #IJustWantToFeelYourBaliOnMe Crew
Relatively new to the team, this was the first time that I’ve gone on trip with my office mates and their loved ones. Without our usual work load and corporate responsibilities, Bali became the perfect playground to unravel our playful (and naughty) side. Whether it be to look for someone to hit the beach with or go with for a second dinner, someone from the group was surely game. Dynamics were easy, breezy and just pure good vibes.
Our Accommodation: Hotel Neo+ Kuta Legian
Lucky us, Anna made arrangements with the Legian Hotel of the Neo+ chain of hotels to extend a special discount and shuttle services for her wedding. Situated right smack in the center of Legian Street, accessibility was definitely one of its best points.
Its daily breakfast buffets were a close second. Because, food. Breakfast choices were always bountiful. Bumping into all the wedding guests every morning was also such a great way to start the day.
Staying outdoors was relaxing with its open-air pool and resting areas. The hotel’s modern and stylish design was impressively picturesque making one’s selfie game strong.
Getting out of bed was definitely a daily struggle for us given that rooms were new, clean and comfy.
Over-all, our whole stay at Hotel Neo+Kuta Legian felt like such a steal given its high points at such an affordable price. If you are looking for somewhere to stay at Legian, this hotel is highly recommended. You can know more about them at..
